Well, I had to wait a few days to post this so I could forget how spoiled ROTTEN Scott is, and write nice things about his birthday. This year I decided to get Scott's DVD system installed in his truck for his birthday. So, in order to do this as a surprise I had to steal Scott's truck, get the system installed, and have it back before he realized it was gone. So, that morning things were good, I got out of Rigby without him seeing me, and was on my way. All of a sudden, his truck stops - in the middle of the street, in Rexburg. Nice huh? Well, it wasn't as bad as it sounds because I happened to stop in the middle of the street right in front of Ray's Chevron. So, I run into the store ask them if I can borrow a gas can to fill his truck up a little bit so that I can move it out of the street. The workers there were so nice they helped me fill a can, and then his truck. So then I go to start his truck, and it won't start. All of a sudden it hits me - I RAN OUT OF GAS, in a DIESEL. I don't know much, but I know that isn't good. So, the boys at Chevron all push me into the station where we begin to wonder how to fix this problem. Since I am still trying to keep this whole thing a secret from Scott, I can't call him, so I call our friend Jeff DaBell. Jeff said, "Don't you know who you're calling?" Basically this means he doesn't have a clue how to help me. But, he suggested I call Dee. duh. So, I call Dee and he says "Boy, if it were one of those old rigs I could help you, but I don't know on these new ones." So, finally I decide that maybe I should just break down and call Scott. The problem with calling Scott is not only would he find out that I had taken his truck, but he probably would just get mad and not be any help anyway. So, I call the Chevy dealership and ask them what to do. Well, they were totally helpful, and they told the guy at the gas station helping me what to do, and it was fixed. I seriously don't know what I would've done without this SUPER nice guy helping me. So, now I'm on my way an hour and a half later to get this system installed. Well, the installation gets done (3 1/2 hours later, and not quite the right way), and I'm finally on my way home. I get home to show Scott, and he was excited (and also pointing out all the things he wasn't happy about, but I won't get into that). Basically, the day was very stressful for me, and all I could think about was how I should have just drawn Scott a picture for his birthday like he did for me. But, I did want to make his birthday special this year since it is has last year being young. Anyway, I really am grateful for Scott, and I am grateful he was born and I really hope he enjoyed his birthday this year!
