YARDWORK

Well, I have been obsessing over yardwork lately. I decided to start a small garden. And when I say small, I mean SMALL. Yes, I even made rows. I have cucumbers, pumpkins, and zuccini in my rows. And I have tomatoes and green beans in my pots. This is what they look like now, but hopefully in a few months I'll have pictures of my flourishing garden (yah, we'll see). I also started re-staining my fence and deck. Since I was pregnant (which means fat), our stain was very crappy, and it was scorching hot when I did it the first time, it did not turn out very well. But I am happy to report that this time it is actually turning out really good. Especially considering I am staining over the bad stuff. This picture isn't very good, but it is a good before and after photo. As soon as Scott gets done weedeating along the fence, which hopefully will be tomorrow (are you listening Scott?), it will be done and that will be a huge project to cross off my list. Yah, I really do feel like a grandma doing all this gardening, flower planting, and yardwork, but it sure is fun for me.
