When Scott and I were dating he took me up to the spillway of the old Teton Dam to show me "Moses". On the spillway, there are several little cutouts of concrete where you can start a fire and the way the wind hits it, it will spiral up to look like Moses' fire (at least that's what we think it looks like). We then would take old tires and put gas inside them, light them on fire and roll them down the spillway. There is water at the bottom, so when they land it puts the fire out. Well, this was fun when we were young, stupid, and in love. But, now that we're older and more mature it's a little more nerve-racking. So, when Scott informed me last Friday night that our date night was to consist of going to "The Backyard" (which is this really cute hamburger and hot dog joint that is really yummy and makes you feel like you are eating in the backyard), and doing Moses, I was not thrilled. On the way up I was talking to my friend Michelle who is from Georgia and she told me that she had been up to do Moses when she was in college as well. This made me feel a little better because I think it is sort of a college experience, and I don't think anybody has ever gotten in trouble for doing it. Anyway, it ended up being a pretty fun date night, and we didn't even get thrown in jail - so that's good.
Here is Scott and Paul getting ready to fire up "Moses"

This is "Moses". Pretty cool huh.

Here is pictures of me and Scott, Jeff and Misti DaBell, James and Sara Westenskow, Paul and Jodi Hepworth, and Riley and Michelle Robison - the crazy people who actually do this kind of thing on a Friday night.
I could never get a good picture of the ball of fire actually rolling down the hill. But, here's Scott and Paul getting ready to fire it up.
