Wedding

We all went to Utah this last weekend for Scott's sister, KaDee's, wedding. It seems like it was such a crazy weekend. We went to the dinner on Thursday night at Madeline's in South Jordan, and in true Stoker style we only showed up one hour late. The next morning KaDee and Nathan were sealed in the Salt Lake City temple. The sealing was really special. It is always nice to have little reminders of how special marriage is, and what a blessing Scott is to me (even though I pretend otherwise). Scott's grandpa passed away a few months ago, and during the ceremony the sealer mentioned that he could feel our family members present there at the sealing. The spirit was so strong and it was such a neat experience to feel grandpa Hunter's spirit there with us in the temple. The temple grounds were so beautiful, and I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to take some pictures of McKenzie. But, since she hadn't had a nap that morning, McKenzie was not cooperating. The only thing that would keep her from crying was this dirty duck rattle that my mom got her a few months ago. It is really a cute toy, but not my favorite prop during our photo session, and she would not keep it out of her mouth. I finally got this bright idea to trick her and give her a flower to devour instead of the duck. It kind of worked and I actually got a few really cute pictures of McKenzie chowing down on her flower. That evening we had a reception in Provo and KaDee's colors were pink and brown. The decorations and everything turned out really pretty. It was a special weekend.
