Since McKenzie seems to be totally spoiled, Scott was beginning to worry that she was a little "slow." We saw our friends at KaDee's reception here in Lewisville, and their baby who is two weeks younger than McKenzie, already has two full board teeth. Scott was saying to some friends in the ward that McKenzie is just so behind on everything, including getting her teeth. Well, lo and behold, yesterday morning as I was feeding her frosting, she bit down on my finger and I felt not one tooth, but two. I was actually planning on taking her to the doctor because I could tell that something was causing her pain, but because I saw no sign of any teeth, I thought it was probably her ears. Nope, it was her teeth. Poor girl endured the whole thing with minimal tylenol and no orajel. But don't worry, now that we know what's happening she isn't suffering for any pain relievers.
By the way, her teeth just barely broke through, so no pictures yet, but stay posted I'm sure that before I know it, I'll have pictures to show of my bald carni (as Melinda put it).
On a seperate note, I have to give a little ode to Teletubbies. Initially I don't think people believe me when I say that I have tried EVERYTHING to get McKenzie to not be a teletubbie lover. We've tried Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Backyardigans, Sesame Street, Yo Gabba Gabba... and nothing even compares to how much she loves Teletubbies. She can be screaming, crying, tired, and everything else not good - but, the second you turn on Teletubbies, all of a sudden she's totally happy and even laughing. As much as I hate the slightly creepy cartoon, I actually have to give it some credit because when nothing else is working, and I can't get anything done, I just turn on Teletubbies and all her troubles go away, literally. It's crazy. Maybe as she gets a little older we can ween her off it and hope she likes something not quite as annoying. But for now, I have to admit Teletubbies has become somewhat of a lifesaver.

Cute blog Misty! By the way Carson really liked Teletubbies at that age too. It must be sort of exciting for them to see freakish aliens dancing around.
