Christmas day we woke up about 9:30 a.m., cooked breakfast and opened presents. This was the first year Scott and I had ever been alone on Christmas. It was actually pretty fun to be able to concentrate 100% on McKenzie, and let her play with her toys as she opened them. We got her this little chair from Pottery Barn that she just loves! I wasn't sure whether she would like it or not, but it has turned out to be one of our best investments. As if she doesn't already think she's cool enough - she literally thinks she's a QUEEN.

LATER...
On Christmas Eve/Day I think we got more snow than I've ever seen in one day. It was so much fun. I bundled McKenzie up and we went and played. Scott spent the entire day plowing driveways (which is one of his favorite things to do, even though you'll always hear him complain).

Isn't she pretty? And yes, that is Abby in the background shoveling snow in her nightgown and crocs.

This is a picture of our road - I don't think you could've even driven on it before it was plowed.

This picture doesn't do it justice, but I was trying to show how high the snow was piled in comparison to the house.
It was definitely a White Christmas for us!
