Happy Thanksgiving

This year we were able to spend Thanksgiving in Boise with my family. It was a lot of fun. My computer decided to die on me the day we were leaving. So, thankfully my dad is smart with that kind of thing and was able to help me recover all the files we needed from our computer before it died for good!!! So, that took almost a whole day. Meanwhile, Scott went mountain biking with Harris and his friends. It was a little different from the recreational activities he typically does, and he came home that night and literally curled up with a blanket and slept for a few hours. He also was given the name "Chappy." Needless to say he was a little sore.

The next day was Thanksgiving. We spent the morning looking through newspaper ads, visiting, and cooking. That afternoon we went to the movie "BOLT." It was cute, and McKenzie was actually pretty good. We went home and had a delicious meal.

Here's our cute little "Turkey"

Are they nerds or what???

DIG IN!!

Thanksgiving was also extra special this year because Melinda had some special news for us! She's expecting - YAY! Carson was sporting a cute little t-shirt that said "Mommy has a turkey in the oven"

Bake Time: 9 Months

I am so excited for Harris and Melinda. They are such good parents, with such a cute little kid. It is exciting to see people like them having more kids. Soon instead of being the cutest little family of three, they'll be the cutest family of four!

The day after Thanksgiving we spent supporting the biggest shopping day of the year. Yeah, it was fun, but I will not start at Walmart at five in the morning again (at least when I'm in Boise). Other than Walmart, it was a lot of fun.

But, then we had to go home. Saturday we stopped in Burley on our way home to see Wess and Whitney get married. It was a nice little ceremony, and we are happy for them to start their new life together (unfortunately in Florida). Good luck to them, and hopefully we'll see them for Christmas!! (hint, hint).
