McKenzie was going through this stage about a month ago where she didn't realize that she couldn't just crawl off the edge of things. Ie. the couch, bed, stairs, etc... So, one morning she kept trying to crawl off the edge of my bed, and I was so frustrated that she wouldn't learn that I told Scott just to let her fall. We were only about two feet away from the floor, and I figured she couldn't get hurt too bad, but maybe it would teach her. Well, she fell off the side and unfortunately landed on the corner of my Harry Potter book and it beat her all up. She got a swollen black eye, and had scratches all up her face. I felt really bad for her. I had tried to schedule pictures for only five days after that happened, and was really glad that it didn't work out. But, I have to say I think she learned because she didn't really ever fall off anything and now she's got it down how to get off things without falling.

That's awesome!! Brad is always telling me to do that too. If you say it works maybe I'll give it a try! So should I put something hard below his fall to make sure he really gets the point! :) JK
Don't feel bad...Kids are so resilient! SHE IS A CUTIE!!
