So if I were to pin a date on it, I would say McKenzie started crawling on July 20. She mostly does this sidestroke crawl where she leads with one leg and pulls the other. I think the only reason why she even learned how to crawl was so that she could stand up in every annoying inconvenient place there is. That is all she cares about - standing up and eating things that she shouldn't. Scott and I have been so busy with work, mostly because we have a home in the Parade of Homes in three weeks. McKenzie has been such a trooper as I haul her EVERYWHERE with me. Don't worry, she has eaten more insulation, sawdust, dirt, wood, leaves, grass, weeds, rocks, concrete, etc., etc. than I would like to think about. Today I've noticed that she is starting to throw fits if I take something away from her, or if I pull her down from somewhere she shouldn't be. Let me tell you, that's great. As far as I can count, she has FIVE teeth. All four of her front teeth, and then one of her canines (I think that's the right word). Anyway, the one next to her top front tooth. She also thinks it's really funny when she tries to bite me, and I tell her "no". She looks at me like, "if I laugh at you and look cute you can't really be mad, right?" Anyway, she turned ten months old this weekend and I seriously can't believe it's gone by that fast. I am actually crying right now thinking about it. I love her so much, and she brings so much joy to my life. Here are a few pictures of how I spend my days chasing after her.

And here's the what happened when she tried to walk between the table and the chair. (If you can't see it, it's a big red goose egg on her head.) I know it might be hard to see through all the hair.
